I honestly don’t know how I feel right now.The 2016 run of  USAC XC MTB Marathon Nationals is the hardest, hottest, most brutal race I have EVER done. My body went into a zone I have never ever experienced before; from having a great start, total bonk, to getting a second win, and having a surprisingly strong finish to a 2nd Place podium against some tough chicks. I have not processed everything in my head yet, and my body is destroyed. I will post a recap of my race when I get myself back to life, however I cannot go to bed without thanking firstly Alex’s Bicycle Pro Shop for their incredible support. I owe part of my accomplishment to Alex and his business, because they set me up with the best equipment and gear in the bike industry. Secondly to my boyfriend and partner in crime, for being my best training buddy ever and for not allowing me to slack. I must also mention Coach Drew Edsall for his coaching expertise, and for helping this beer-chugging, taco-eating, weekend warrior ready to race against some of the best athletes in the country. ‪#‎alexbicycles‬ ‪#‎MarathonMTB‬ ‪#‎usacycling‬‪#‎mtblife‬ ‪#‎coachdrewedsall‬ @alexbicycles @drewedsall
